Lagos delays enforcing its parking regulations until 2023

The new parking rules in Lagos State won’t take into effect until the second quarter of 2023.

The mission of the Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA), according to General Manager Mrs. Adebisi Adelabu, is to establish a parking culture in the state.

Adelabu said that in light of the state’s expanding population, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu had approved a bill establishing a well-organized and coordinated parking management system for the Lagos of the future.

She continued by saying that the goal of the strategy was to reduce traffic congestion, solve climate change issues, and generate economic opportunities.
