FIFA Reveals The Ref To Take Charge Of World Cup Final

Szymon Marciniak has been chosen by FIFA to officiate the 2022 World Cup final between France and Argentina on Sunday.

His countrymen Pawe Sokolnicki and Tomasz Listkiewicz will support Marciniak.

He will preside over the World Cup final as the first Polish official to do so.

Michael Oliver and Anthony Taylor, who are still in Qatar, are snubbed by Marciniak’s selection (who was sent home by FIFA).

Pierluigi Collina, the head FIFA referee, reportedly chose Marciniak for the match at the Lusail Stadium, according to Sports Center.

The 41-year-efforts old’s in Qatar left Collina in awe.

In the group stages, Marciniak officiated France’s 2-1 victory over Denmark and Argentina’s 2-1 triumph over Australia in the round of 16.
