The Nigerian Premier League Is Described By Odion Ighalo
|Odion Ighalo, a striker for Al-Hilal, has said that if certain requirements are completed, he may participate in the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL).
The NPFL just slipped 20 spots in the most current IFFHS rating.
Ighalo, however, said that if the security is enhanced, he would retire to his nation’s league.
The NPFL has suffered from poor officiating, hooliganism, and corruption in recent years.
“Our players may return to Nigeria from overseas, but security has to be strengthened.
The League (Nigerian Premier Football League) has to be well-run. Matches should be shown on television and a lot of money would be invested in the game, Ighalo remarked on Super Sport.
Ighalo started his career with Julius Berger FC before coming to Europe, where he has made 354 appearances in the domestic league for 10 teams and scored 150 goals in total.
