Medal Taken From Mohamed Salah’s Home Is Found By The Police (Photo)

After a break-in at Mohamed Salah’s Cairo residence, police have detained two individuals and recovered stolen property, including an Africa Cup of Nations runners-up medal.

According to the Egyptian Ministry of Interior, one of persons detained in connection with the suspected break-in was a former security guard at the residential complex.

Football boots were among the items taken in the break-in earlier this month.

With Egypt, Salah, 30, has advanced to two finals of the Africa Cup of Nations.

After losing to Senegal in 2021 and Cameroon in 2017, they finished second both times.

Later this month, the player will represent Egypt versus Malawi in a pair of qualification games for the Africa Cup of Nations.

After falling down 5-2 in the first leg at Anfield, Liverpool will face Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 on Wednesday.
