Real Madrid Is Nearing An Agreement With A Loan Star That Includes A Pay Raise.

Brahim Diaz, a standout for Real Madrid who is on loan at Milan, is nearing a new contract.

The young Spanish international was one of the country’s top players when he transferred from Manchester City to Real Madrid in 2019. Nevertheless, after showing little initiative, he was moved on loan to Milan for two seasons, where Stefano Pioli has progressively helped him gain a berth in the first squad.

Brahim has a €22 million purchase option, but Los Blancos are in charge of his destiny and have a €25 million buyback option should the Rossoneri want to activate it.

The two sides are close to renewing his contract, which runs until 2027, according to Mario Cortegana of The Athletic. He would also get a respectable pay raise, putting him in the “middle earners” of the playing group.

Although the story does state that it is unknown where he will play next season, it seems that both Brahim and Real Madrid believe that Spain is where he will spend the most of his career. He may continue on loan at Milan as well, depending on other developments.
