Alex Iwobi, a midfielder for the Super Eagles, has discussed his experiences at Arsenal before leaving the team.

After receiving abuse from Arsenal supporters, the Nigerian international said that his family was crucial in helping him maintain his sanity.

Iwobi, an Arsenal youth graduate, signed a five-year, £35 million contract with Everton in the summer of 2019.

“When I was a member of the Arsenal team, many people questioned my skills. The remarks were just excessive, the Everton regular midfielder told Premier League Productions.
