It Will Be Alex Iwobi’s 115th Appearance For Everton.

When the Toffees play Wolverhampton Wanderers on Boxing Day in the Premier League at Goodison Park, Everton winger Alex Iwobi will try to make his 115th appearance.

The foreign player from Nigeria joined the Merseyside club in 2019.

Iwobi has made 114 appearances for Everton (98 in the league, 11 in the Carabao Cup and five in the FA Cup).

The 26-year-old first found it difficult to contribute to the team, but under Frank Lampard, he has emerged as a key player.

The adaptable winger was crucial to Everton’s fight for survival last season.

Iwobi participated fully in each of Everton’s last 12 matches of the 2021–2022 season.

He has made 15 league appearances so far this season, with one goal and five assists.
