Manchester United knock Chelsea out of FA Cup with Pogba goal, assist.

Manchester United beat Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge on Monday night to book a spot in the FA Cup quarterfinals.
A first-half goal and assist from Paul Pogba had the visiting team on their way before half-time, with Chelsea fans voicing their displeasure with manager Maurizio Sarri as the match headed to full-time.
A frantic opening quarter hour saw Chelsea’s Pedro force a good save from Sergio Romero before Gonzalo Higuain powered a header wide of the far post from an inswinging Cesar Azpilicueta cross.
The end-to-end action continued and Manchester United took the early lead just past 30 minutes when Ander Herrera expertly headed Pogba’s cross past Kepa Arrizabalaga in the Chelsea goal.
Paul Pogba made it 2-0 just before half-time, heading home an inch-perfect Marcus Rashford cross after playing his England teammate down the right flank with a through ball that split open the Chelsea defence.
Chelsea had legitimate shouts for a booking on Nemanja Matic — already on a yellow card — waved off early in the second half after the midfielder’s late, sloppy challenge brought N’Golo Kante down.
The hosts pushed in vain for a goal to jumpstart a comeback, but none came as chants rang down from the stands calling for Sarri’s tenure at Chelsea to come to an end.
