Tottenham instructed to immediately fire manager Antonio Conte (SEE WHY)

Jamie Carragher, a former Liverpool player, has urged Tottenham Hotspur to fire manager Antonio Conte “tonight” in light of the shocking outburst he had at his team’s players during their Premier League match-up with Southampton that ended 3-3.

As the visitors went up 3-1 at St Mary’s with 15 minutes left, Tottenham seemed to be taking a significant stride toward UEFA Champions League qualifying.

But, Theo Walcott and James Ward-Prowse of Southampton finally tied the score.

Conte was furious with the Tottenham players after the game and went into them in his post-game news conference, accusing them of lacking heart.

Carragher, though, thinks Spurs need to fire Conte and put him out of his misery.

With this international break, Conte wants to be fired, Carragher tweeted.

“Spurs should just end his suffering and do it tonight.

“His argument about Spurs not having won for a while is true, but you don’t talk negatively about your own team.

“Even when they’re paying you a lot! Several of his claims are refuted by Arsenal’s progress this year after finishing above them the previous year.
