There are no plans to fire Graham Potter from Chelsea.

Despite Sunday’s 4-0 FA Cup loss to Manchester City, Graham Potter continues to have the backing of the Chelsea board.

After a run of six defeats in nine games in all competitions, the former Brighton manager has come under fire. Chelsea has also dropped to 10th in the Premier League and has been eliminated from both domestic cups.

During the game on Sunday, supporters sang the name of the previous manager Thomas Tuchel, who was fired in September.

Chelsea, though, sees Potter, who took Tuchel’s position, as a long-term hire.

There is hope that he can improve the team’s performance, which has been negatively impacted by a lengthy series of ailments.
