The Greatest Regret Of Arsenal Legend Patrick Vieira’s Career Is Revealed.

Patrick Vieira, a legendary player for Arsenal, has shared his greatest regret from his professional football career.

During Arsenal’s 2003–2004 Premier League-winning season, Vieira, who is presently the manager of Crystal Palace, said that he regretted not signing for Real Madrid.

Under previous manager Arsene Wenger, Arsenal embarked on a legendary Premier League undefeated streak that season and were called “The Invincibles.”

Vieira, who made 29 league appearances that season and contributed three goals and five assists, was essential for the Gunners.

After his achievements that season, the former midfielder had the opportunity to join Real Madrid, but he declined and chose to stay at Arsenal.

On the miscalculated maneuver, Vieira explained to Africa Sports (via Madrid Xtra):

“I didn’t need to leave Arsenal; I felt at home there. Yet if I could turn the clock back, things could have turned out differently.

“My biggest regret in my career is not signing with Real Madrid.”
