The Greatest British Player Of All Time Is Not Gareth Bale.

Danny Murphy, a former midfielder for Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, has informed Gareth Bale that he is not the greatest British player of all time.

Former Real Madrid, Tottenham, and Southampton player Bale announced his retirement from football on Monday.

Bale won three La Liga, one Copa del Rey, and five Champions League championships at the Santiago Bernabeu.

And the question of whether he is the greatest British player of all time has generated discussion.

However, Murphy has informed the former forward that it would be incorrect to refer to him as the best British player ever.

“Gareth Bale’s heyday lasted for approximately six years, five or six seasons, which is why he isn’t the best. He scored a few goals for Spurs before moving to Madrid, where he scored 22, 17, and then 21 goals.

So, in this six-year span, he was among the finest, in my opinion. However, the top athletes play for 12 years. That is the distinction.
