Man United Manager Ten Hag Names The Four Players Who Contributed To The 1–1 Draw
|According to Erik ten Hag, manager of Manchester United, at least four of the players on the field should have contributed to Wednesday’s victory against Crystal Palace.
At Selhurst Park, the Red Devils were beaten to a 1-1 draw when Bruno Fernandes’ first-half goal was cancelled out by Michael Olise’s late free kick.
Ten Hag has argued, meanwhile, that his team should have eliminated Palace before the equalizer.
“We had a 1-0 lead. We had enough of room to eliminate them and push for the second in the second half. I never saw us attempting the second goal seriously.
“It’s difficult to explain [why]. I have to be critical of my group.
“Second, please. With [Alejandro] Garnacho’s inventiveness, pace, and strength, Bruno and [Marcus Rashford] on the flanks, and [Scott] McTominay’s penetration at the back, Ten Hag remarked.
