Julian Alvarez, A Striker For Man City, Signs A New Deal
|Manchester City has extended Julian Alvarez’s contract by one year, keeping him with the team till 2028.
The 23-year-old attacker, an Argentina World Cup champion, has scored 10 goals in 33 games since joining from River Plate last summer.
Alvarez first signed a five-and-a-half-year contract, but he has now agreed to a “improved” one that takes into account his accomplishments for both club and country.
City, he said, gives him “everything he needs” to perform at his peak.
Alvarez remarked, “For a club like City to show their trust in me in this way is incredible.
“My first season here has been great, but there’s still a lot I can improve on. City provides me with all I need to reach my potential, even though I know I can do better.
