Jesse Marsch And Chris Armas Are Now At Leeds.

After losing head coach Mark Jackson to MK Dons earlier this season, Leeds have been searching for a replacement for the assistant coach position ever since. Sportsmail exclusively reported last week that Leeds were closing in on Armas.

Armas joins the backroom team, subject to obtaining a work visa, and Jesse Marsch now has his man.

Marsch said, “I’m thrilled to welcome Chris to Leeds United.”

He offers a plethora of expertise from all around the globe, and having previously worked closely with him, I am confident he will enable us to do better every day. He will be a terrific addition to the workforce.

Football director Victor Orta said, “We always have ideas to better the squad around Jesse and with Chris it is a wonderful match since they have both worked with in the past and he has experience working in the Premier League.

“Chris was one of the greatest players in American history, and his commitment and abilities will bring value to our team. We are thrilled that he has joined us.”

Armas has Premier League experience, having spent last season working for Manchester United’s temporary manager Ralf Rangnick.
