In Advance Of Their Match Against Arsenal, Crystal Palace Fires Manager Patrick Vieira

Patrick Vieira, the manager of Crystal Palace, has been fired after a 12-match losing streak.

Palace has lost three straight games and hasn’t picked up a victory in 2023 after Wednesday’s 1-0 loss to Brighton.

They are 12th in the Premier League but are just three points above 18th-placed Bournemouth, who have a game in hand.

At the start of the previous year, Frenchman Vieira was hired, and under his aggressive leadership, the Eagles finished the year in 12th position.

They have only managed to score 21 goals in 27 games this season, behind only bottom-of-the-table Southampton, Wolves, and Everton.

Before to losing to Brighton, Palace had gone three games without having a shot on goal.

Osian Roberts, Kristian Wilson, and Said Aigoun were three members of Vieira’s coaching team who have also departed the organization.
