Frank Lampard Comments After His Dismissal As Everton Manager

Frank Lampard, a Chelsea star, has spoken out after being handed the door as Everton manager.

After a 10-game losing streak that includes eight losses, Lampard, one of the greatest midfielders in English top-flight history, was fired by Goodison Park landlords on Monday.

Everton were comfortably in the relegation zone when the former Chelsea and Derby County manager quit the club.

After 20 games, the Toffees are ranked 19th in the standings. They have never been dropped from the Premier League, although they may end up in the Championship the following year.

Prior to Lampard’s appointment on a rescue mission, which he successfully completed after succeeding Rafael Benitez, the Toffees were similarly in serious trouble last season.

After being fired, the 44-year-old has now released a statement in which he claims:

“Last year, I knew we were in a difficult situation coming into Everton.”

The Englishman said that he would always be grateful for the amazing effort and encouragement he received from everyone on the team.

He thanked everyone and said

“I will never forget the amazing night we had versus Palace.

I wish the players and everyone at Everton FC the utmost best for the future and am sad that we weren’t able to accomplish more together.
