Following A Challenging Year, Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp Praises Marcus Rashford

After Marcus Rashford’s improvement in play, Jürgen Klopp, manager of Liverpool, says he is “very thrilled” for the Manchester United attacker.

The 25-year-old only managed five goals in 2021–22 but has scored 25 for United this season.

On Sunday, Liverpool and United will face off in the Premier League at Anfield (16:30 GMT).

When you are the manager of Liverpool, it is almost hard to be pleased about anything at Manchester United, according to Klopp.

“But, I’m genuinely glad for Rashford because he had a really tough year last year and wasn’t playing to the level he is capable of.

He is performing well right now. With his combination of speed, skill, and composure in front of goal, he scores both difficult goals and easy ones.
