Fan Expelled For Attacking Ramsdale, An Arsenal Goalkeeper
|The Football Association has accused Arsenal and Manchester City of failing to control their players during Wednesday’s Premier League match.
At several points throughout the game at Emirates Stadium, Anthony Taylor was encircled by members of both sets of players.
When City’s Erling Haaland was given a penalty, a decision that was later reversed by VAR, Arsenal raised objections.
Both the penalty given to Arsenal in the first half and the subsequent foul on Eddie Nketiah infuriated City.
Nketiah was given a warning for tackling City’s Ruben Dias.
The FA said in a statement:
Both clubs are accused of failing to guarantee that their players behaved properly, with Arsenal’s players allegedly encircling the referee in the 56th minute and Manchester City’s doing the same in the 42nd and 64th.
