Evra, A Premier League Legend, Discusses Man United’s Title Victory.

Patrice Evra, a former player for Manchester United, said he is not enough nave to believe his previous team can win the Premier League this year.

Evra made this statement after Sunday’s 7-0 Premier League loss against Liverpool for Manchester United.

Evra stated the following on Rio Ferdinand’s FIVE podcast:

“I never became overexcited. While they are on the right track with this squad, they are not yet prepared [to win the Premier League]. I don’t have a delusion.

“As a United supporter, I will consider the championship, but I’ll be honest with you, I never believe United will be able to win [this season] because it’s a process,” the fan said.

With 49 points from 25 games and the victory against Liverpool, Man United now sits in third place in the Premier League standings.
