Julian Alvarez Receives A Message From Kevin De Bruyne, His Man City Teammate.

Julian Alvarez has been welcomed to Manchester City with open arms, according to Kevin De Bruyne, who also congratulated him on winning the World Cup.

Despite being the current South American player of the year, Erling Haaland’s acquisition in the summer partly overshadowed Alvarez’s move from River Plate. Since the Norwegian wonder is obviously the first pick to lead the line, Alvarez has spent the most of his time on the bench during Premier League games.

With seven goals, the 22-year-old is off to a great start, but he carried that confidence into the World Cup, where his inclusion in the starting XI helped Argentina turn their fortunes around and inspired them to win the coveted cup. De Bruyne expressed his happiness for Alvarez and evaluated the difference he has made at the Etihad.

He told City’s official website, “I believe when he came into the club they were speaking about this young star from Argentina and in the beginning we realized that he was a very great player.

“You never know what will happen when players from South America arrive, but he played for us and instantly appeared like a mature player. He is a great good person and is really bashful, therefore I am glad for him. But he can now refer to himself as a global champion, which makes him feel amazing!

“I believe he has adapted really well. Perhaps he thought he could have played a little bit more, but as the season has progressed, he has played an increasing amount. In reality, he has scored quite a few goals.

His English isn’t so poor, and moving from Argentina to England is a whole different experience, so I believe he has adapted well and is happy in this new environment. I’m delighted for him.
