Dani Alves Refuses To Eat In Prison After Divorcing His Wife.

According to Cuatro al día, former Brazil defender Dani Alves is “refusing to eat” and “wants to remain kept in his cage” for the most of the day.

This comes after his alleged divorce from Joana Sanz.

Sanz reportedly announced her breakup with Alves on Instagram.

Due to an alleged sexual assault, Alves has been incarcerated since January 2023.

Alves reportedly told his fellow prisoners that his wife loved him and was there for him despite the major sexual assault claims.

The player “is utterly saddened and quite worried” right now, however.

Alves had shared a cell with another prisoner, but now he is on his own and “wants to remain locked up” the whole time.

Alves’ trial has not yet been scheduled for a date.
