UPDATE!!! Ronaldo Will Be Punished By Man Utd

Cristiano Ronaldo will be penalized by Manchester United by at least £1 million for his recent incendiary interview with Piers Morgan.

In his interview, the 37-year-old attacked Manchester United’s board and manager Erik ten Hag.

Only a few hours before to the conversation, Manchester United defeated Fulham 2-1 at Craven Cottage.

The Portugal international missed Thursday’s Carabao Cup victory against Aston Villa as well as the game due to sickness.

The Portuguese captain really wanted to leave the team last summer, but he was unable to do so, and so far this season, he has been forced to take second place to players like Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.

The former Juventus and Real Madrid striker was previously fined two weeks’ pay in October for refusing to replace an injured player against Tottenham.

This time around, the Portugal captain will go through the same thing since Ronaldo will be subject to another punishment of almost £1 million, according to Metro.

Ronaldo most likely played his last match for the team, and he may be let go before to the January transfer window.

Before the dramatic comments, the captain of Portugal had started and finished four games for Manchester United. The seasoned attacker said he felt betrayed by the team after being persuaded to remain at Old Trafford despite asking to be allowed to go over the summer.

According to reports, Ronaldo had requested permission to leave Old Trafford once Ten Hag took over, but he was informed he was a part of the new manager’s plans and was forced to remain for the season.
