The best manager Lionel Messi has ever worked with is revealed.

The Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has been cited by Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi as the finest coach he has worked with so far in his illustrious career.

Between 2008 and 2012, Messi, now 35, was a force to be reckoned with under Guardiola.

During Gardiola’s time at Camp Nou, the Argentine captain won many medals, including two UEFA Champions League trophies and three LaLiga championships.

The seven-time Ballon d’Or winner scored 211 goals and recorded 94 assists in 219 appearances in all competitions while playing for Man City.

Messi said in an interview with Movistar (via BarcaBlaugranes) that whatever Guardiola planned always came to pass.

Messi stated:

I have never had a better coach than Pep. He always got whatever he wanted to happen.

He is unique in the way he perceives the world, gets ready for games, and communicates.

Added he,

Guardiola also caused significant damage to football because it seemed to be too simple and everyone wanted to replicate it.

Guardiola departed Barcelona after the conclusion of the 2011–12 season, while Messi left the Catalan club when his contract ended in the summer of 2021.
