Green Savannah awards scholarships to 60 Benue students.
|In Benue State, 60 children in basic and post-primary institutions have received scholarships from Green Savannah.
Sylvester Uzoama, the managing director of the agriculture-focused Non Governmental Organization (NGO), revealed this yesterday in Makurdi at the organization’s end-of-year celebration for 2022.
Uzoama claims that it is part of the culture of the Green Savannah to commemorate the end of each year by helping the less fortunate by distributing food and other agricultural products to the populace, especially their immediate host community, the Nigerian Air Force Base, and the Ugondo communities in the Makurdi Local Council.
In order to continue having an effect on society, he promised to keep talking to community leaders and interest groups.
