Arsenal defeated Wolves 2–0 thanks to VAR.

The 2-0 victory against Wolves by Arsenal has been attributed to a “absolute VAR mistake.”

The Gunners increased their advantage at the top of the Premier League to five points thanks to two goals from Martin Odegaard.

Earlier on Saturday, Brentford defeated Manchester City 2-1.

In the eighth minute, after bringing down Goncalo Guedes inside the penalty area, William Saliba was spared a red card.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, a former Chelsea striker, remarked on Sky Sports:

“As basic as it is, that’s a foul in my book.

You can see that Guedes receives the ball before Saliba, who is running late. It is both a foul and a penalty.

Karen Carney, a former midfielder for both England and Arsenal, added:

You can obviously see that he makes contact and comes through.

It was a mistake for the VAR crew to intervene; there should have been a penalty.
