Adidas ran out of Lionel Messi’s jerseys in the colors of Argentina after he won the World Cup due to a huge demand for the garment.

Argentina’s sponsoring clothing company, Adidas, has seen a huge surge in demand for Messi jerseys.

Sporting legend said:

“More stock will be available shortly,” the company said in an effort to satisfy the unusual demand for jerseys.

Even before the World Cup final, it was quite difficult for supporters to get authentic Messi apparel. The Adidas website displayed “sold out,” and other resale sites like Amazon similarly had no inventory.
