22-Year-Old Buys ₦4.6M Car With Fake Bank Alert, Lands In Ondo Police Net (Photos)

The Police in Ondo State have captured a 22-Year-Old Man, Bakare Ayobami, for supposedly buying a car with a fake bank caution.

The State Police Open Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya, uncovered this in a explanation on Wednesday in Akure.

Odunlami-Omisanya said that on Oct. 26, 2023, a case of cybercrime was detailed to the Police, including Bakare Ayobami, matured 22, of Tribute Irele in Irele Neighborhood Government Range of Ondo State.

The PPRO clarified that Ayobami had, on Oct. 20, 2023, at approximately 1800 hrs, gone to a car stand having a place to Mr. Filani Oluwaseun and Mr. Ogbaguwa Oluwasola at Ikare Street, Owo, to purchase a Toyota Corolla 2006 show for the whole of N4,650,000.00 employing a fake bank caution.

Agreeing to the PPRO, through insights gathering, Police agents connected to the Extraordinary Anti-Kidnapping Squad captured Ayobami Bakare and his accessory, one Abdullahi Abubakar, matured 26, in Ekiti.

“The stolen vehicle was recuperated in Osogbo, Osun State, whereas another Toyota Camry 2014 show esteemed at N6.2 million, suspected to have been stolen, was too recuperated from the suspect.
