Zainab Bagudu Wants To See More Money Allocated To Education.

Dr. Zainab Bagudu, the governor of Kebbi’s wife, has urged for more education investment to spur economic growth.

Bagudu discussed her eight-year leadership from 2015 to the present at an interactive session with journalists in Abuja.

“More funding for education is urgently needed,” she said. It ought to be given high importance.

“More financing is needed in every area, but education needs it the most. It is the parent of all industries. All industries are affected by education.

The governor of Kebbi’s wife also notably mentioned the need of empowering Nigerian women and educating the female child.

The girl-child is thus extremely important in society, she said, because when you educate the girl-child, you educate the society.

Thus, if we educate girls, our society will be better. Education is undoubtedly crucial.

Bagudu praised the newly implemented cashless policy and the accompanying cash shortage, calling it a very smart policy that would enable Nigerians to capitalize on the value of technology.

Yet the country’s present financial shortage is quite terrible, the medical consultant said.

“In Nigeria, changing currencies is nothing new; it happens all around the world. A little reprieve was provided by President Muhammadu Buhari in his address on Thursday.

Together with the old N200 notes, the CBN need to circulate more of the new Naira notes.

“The public are suffering because they have to wait longer in line at the banks’ ATMs.

While the cashless policy is a good one, it has to be made more frictionless since it is having a significant influence on the economy.

Regarding the federal elections in 2023, Bugudu said the APC was well-liked by the Kebbi and Nigerian populations.

The Kebbi people have distinguished themselves across the nation, said the chairwoman of the Northwest APC PCC Women wing.
