Scarcity Of Funds In Nigeria Is A Result Of Panic Withdrawal

The lack of money in the nation has been linked by a community leader to residents’ fear withdrawal.

Chief Chris Eluemunoh, a former leader of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Anambra, has urged the populace to support the government’s efforts to improve living conditions by putting an end to panic attacks.

In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Awka, Eluemunoh said that the majority of withdrawals are held for later use rather than being immediately placed into circulation in the nation.

According to him, such money hoarding has resulted in shortages and suffering for the general people owing to low circulation.

In lieu of social media, where information is promoted adversely, Eluemunoh said that people should pay more attention to conventional media in order to be properly educated about government programs and their advantages.

He said that the majority of responses from the public were based on false information shared on social media, which in turn led to “fears of the unknown” among the populace.

“In order to ask insightful questions and propose long-lasting answers, people should be able to trust their government and strictly adhere to its policies.

“Men and women with significant skill and aptitude to expose any bad policies and project a path ahead are many in Nigeria.

People today, he said, “live in a state of terror that is only making matters worse.”
