PTI Cautions Incoming Students That You Cannot Buy Your Way Through.

The Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun, Delta State, informed its incoming students over the weekend that they would not be able to pay their way through the school. They advised them to get started right away in their academic pursuits.

The institution’s principal, Dr. Henry Adimula, remarked: “Success in PTI will not come to you by buying your way through, since this is entirely against our culture and practice in the institute.” This was expressed during the matriculation of 1,718 new students.

He cautioned that in order to be eligible to take a test, pupils must have 75% attendance.

Let me educate our matriculants that PTI is an excellence center in the Nigerian petroleum business, he added. For the petroleum industry, we provide guidance, best practices, research, assistance, and instruction. We have zero tolerance for examination misconduct, all sorts of physical abuse, bullying, cultism, drug usage, trafficking in narcotics, exposing of body parts, indecent clothing, theft, and improper use of social media for this reason.

He clarified that the PTI’s objective is to supply qualified technical people resources via high-quality training, research, and consulting for the oil and gas and related industries, and that the organization’s ambition is to become the premier oil and gas technology institute in Africa.

He tasked the students with coming up with long-term answers to the problems facing the petroleum sector, particularly by coming up with innovative methods for using fossil fuels using local and indigenous technologies.
