Opening Of Itori Township Road By Abiodun

On Tuesday, Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun officially opened the Itori Township Road in the state’s Ewekoro Local Council Area. Major highways that are in terrible condition were to be fixed by the governor’s administration.

The rebuilding of the road, according to Abiodun, who also opened lock up stores in the community, was a fulfillment of a promise he made to voters during his campaign in 2019. He emphasized that the purpose of government is to serve the people.

Speaking to the audience and council members, Abiodun said that his administration had continued to be the first to guarantee the equitable distribution of projects to all regions of the state and that no local government had been excluded from project implementation. He promised the populace that his government would soon start building inexpensive homes in Itori, the council’s administrative center.

The governor said that an agreement with the Federal Government to rehabilitate the road will soon be achieved in response to the poor state of the Abeokuta-Ifo-Ota-Lagos Road.

Within the following 18 months, the road will have a new appearance, he promised.

He admitted that prior attempts by his government had failed because the FG argued that the route was covered by a contract.

In addition to adding new classrooms and renovating the ancient buildings at Papalanto High School, Abiodun announced that the town’s old Ilaro Road will soon be rebuilt.

According to the governor, after the road is restored, local economic activity will be significantly boosted. The express route has been in a terrible shape for a long time since past state administrations paid little or no attention to it, according to the Olu of Itori, Oba Fatai Akamo, in his words.

The Olu of Itori, Oba Fatai Akamo, said in his comments that the road has been in a terrible state for a long time since past administrations paid little or no attention to it.
