On His 66th Birthday, Buhari Honors Prof. Osinbajo

Vice President Oluyemi Oluleke Osinbajo celebrated his 66th birthday on Wednesday, and President Muhammadu Buhari sent him good wishes.

The President also sent his congratulations to the whole Osinbajo family, wishing them a happy new year and continued good health as their son, husband, and father became another year old.

In his remarks, President Buhari praised the honoree for his distinguished contributions to the nation as a scholar, Lagos State’s attorney general (1997–2007), and vice president (2015 till date).

He praised Osinbajo’s skillful blending of education, governance, and pastoral work as a pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), commending such devotion to the younger generation to whom the Number 2 man serves as a torchbearer.

President Buhari also sent his best wishes for the Vice President and his family for a happy celebration and more grace in the future in a statement released by his Special Advisor on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, on Wednesday.
