Mock UTME 2023 Is Moved By Jamb.

The 2023 Mock-UTME, which was originally set on Thursday, March 16, 2023, has been moved to Thursday, March 30, 2023, by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

According to JAMB, part of the change in time is due to the transfer of the State Houses of Assembly and Governorship Elections, which were originally slated to take place on Saturday, March 11, 2023, to Saturday, March 18, 2023.

Candidates who enrolled early and expressed their intent to take the Mock-UTME will be advised when to print their Mock-UTME notification slip, which would include their centers and other data, according to JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin in a statement.

The Mock-UTME is an optional test that the Board created to provide applicants a chance to practice using the system and to give the Board a chance to assess its own preparation and that of its partners for the Main UTME, which is slated to take place between April 29 and May 12, 2023.

The statement reads, “The Board also wishes to utilize this occasion to announce that several ground-breaking innovations will be implemented for this year’s UTME to address identified violations and center failures.

For instance, under the new system, a session would be canceled and rescheduled with the applicants if there was a delay of up to an hour before it was supposed to begin.

Likewise, no examination may begin more than an hour beyond its planned start time. The meeting will take place in any AVAILABLE or VACANT time window. Upon leaving their center, applicants are required by the Board to be informed of their new scheduled session or location, as applicable. Also, during the UTME, no candidate would be permitted to wait less than one hour before submitting their replies. Similar to this, the new system would prevent applicants from logging in beyond the exam’s activation time of one hour.
