In Onitsha, Five Men Are Reportedly Burned To Death For Attempting To Steal A Tricycle.

In Onitsha, Anambra State, five guys allegedly tried to steal a tricycle from its owner before being burned to death.

On Saturday, March 25, 2023, the event allegedly took place on old Nkpor Road in the commercial hub of Onitsha, not far from the People’s Club headquarters.

The suspects reportedly attempted to take a tricycle from the owner in broad daylight until they ran out of luck and were apprehended, according to an eyewitness who talked with DailyPost.

“The mob, which had gathered after the guys were hauled up, disregarded some people’s suggestion to contact the police. The guys were initially stripped nude and beaten before being set fire with fuel-filled old tires that other people later brought. Everyone saw and kept an eye on the guys as they burned to death today, which was a truly horrible sight, he added.
