WhatsApp comes out with another features, check it out

WhatsApp, a messaging service with American roots, has just released new capabilities to make cross-platform communication easier.

Internet entrepreneur and business tycoon Mark Zuckerberg said the platform has been focused on enhancing user experience since its beginning while announcing the exciting improvements on Thursday.

One of the key improvements introduced to the platform is the ability for users to conduct polls in group chats and the extension of group video conferences to support 32 participants.

According to Zuckerberg, WhatsApp has now doubled the group capacity from 512 to 1024. He stated:

“Today, we are thrilled to present our concept for WhatsApp Communities, a brand-new feature we are introducing. Since the inception of WhatsApp in 2009, we’ve concentrated on figuring out how to provide users the experience that comes closest to having a face-to-face discussion.

The 38-year-old computer expert also mentioned how often the platform hears from users who use WhatsApp to plan activities inside a group.

The communities add support for sub-groups and announcement groups as well as enhancements to admin controls.

In addition, 32-person phone and video chats, more comprehensive file sharing, emoji replies, and polls will be possible with the functionality, according to Zuckerberg. Admins of current group chats will have the option to convert their group to a “Community” when the functionality launches or choose to re-create their group as a “Community.”

According to Zuckerberg, the ‘Communities’ feature’s encryption features were designed to “raise the standard for how enterprises interact with a degree of privacy and security not found anywhere else.”
