Six of Davido’s domestic helpers were released by the police, while two were detained.

Two of the eight domestic workers of musician Davido who were first apprehended by the Lagos state police command have been held.

You may remember that they had been asked to testify over the death of his son Ifeanyi, who was three years old.

Recall that on Monday, October 31, Ifeanyi was reported to have perished in his father’s Banana Island pool.

According to a source, the spokesman said that after thorough questioning, six of the domestic service members had been freed while the chef and nanny remained in custody.

“Nanny and Ifeanyi were together when the Chef arrived to join them. According to reports, the Nanny stepped a little bit away to take a call.

Ifeanyi wasn’t there when she got back, so she believed he was with the Chef. However, the Chef claimed that he had left Ifeanyi with her. For about 20 minutes, they searched desperately around the mansion for Ifeanyi until a security officer finally found him in the pool.
