Peter Obi: “FG Has Not Shown Compassion To Flood Victims.”

According to Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, the Federal Government has not showed sympathy for the suffering of the flood victims in all of Nigeria.

Speaking in Makurdi, the capital of Benue State, on a visit to Governor Samuel Ortom, Obi said that compassion, listening, and understanding are all aspects of leadership.

We want a Nigeria where we would demonstrate our patriotism by looking out for the needs of the populace, he remarked. Take a look at the flooding that has occurred around Nigeria. I believe that the Nigerian government should have reacted better and with more sympathy.

“Compassion, listening, and understanding are necessary for leadership. How many individuals, including those living in IDP camps, have been visited by the federal government? That is what you do, and it shows your dedication.
