Nigeria Will Be Safer and Richer When Buhari Leaves, Says Gambari

President Muhammadu Buhari’s chief of staff, Ibrahim Gambari, has promised to leave Nigeria more unified, wealthy, and secure than he found it.

During a working visit to assess the level of work at the Agriculture Machinery and Equipment Development Institute (AMEDI) on Sunday in Lafia, the capital of Nasarawa state, Gambari spoke on behalf of Buhari.

According to him, the government headed by Buhari is dedicated to the development of agriculture in order to increase agricultural output and its value chain, guarantee food sufficiency in the nation, and promote the export of agricultural goods.

He said that measures had been made to realize increased agricultural output as one of the top goals in transforming the industry from one primarily focused on subsistence to one that was heavily machine-driven.

According to him, this will permit the export of agricultural goods and ensure the nation’s food security and sufficiency.

He praised the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) management for their dedication to the project and the advancements achieved thus far.

He said, “The President has invited me to come here to check and view the amazing physical progress that is going place in NASENI, especially one of the six Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Development Institutes.

“President Buhari holds agriculture in high respect because he thinks the time has come for us to produce what we eat and consume what we create in order to assure food security and sufficiency.

God willing, at the conclusion of his administration, he would leave Nigeria more unified, wealthy, and secure than he found it. He is extremely happy to be connected with this state and of the enormous growth that has occurred in this state.
