IPOB once again denies involvement in Gulak’s murder.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has once again cleared its members of Alhaji Ahmed Gulak’s murder, claiming that to connect the newly detained people to the incident would amount to blackmail.

The separatist organization referred to the Nigeria Police’s assertions that a specific runaway security personnel that it had displayed over the murder was a member of IPOB as regrettable.

The government, according to IPOB, has continued to “rubbish itself by connecting IPOB and Eastern Security Network (ESN) to the death of an innocent man, who visited Imo State for his business transaction with Governor Hope Uzodimma, in a statement from its media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful.

“At the time of Gulak’s murder, Nigerian Police charged IPOB with carrying out the crime, but Uzodimma officially dissociated and cleared IPOB of the charge,” it said.

“Uzodimma called the killing a political assassination. We are shocked that the state Police Command has launched its propaganda campaign to extort IPOB once again with the same false information today.

According to IPOB, Chinwendu, commonly known as “Onye Army,” the alleged escaped soldier, was never an ESN agent.

“IPOB does not know him, much alone have him as a leader in ESN,” the organization said. He was seen as a political bully. IPOB shouldn’t be included if he was hired to kill Gulak.

“Operators with the IPB and ESN are dedicated and diligent. We avoid participating in the political thuggery in Nigeria because we are not political.

It also refuted claims that one of its agents kidnapped an army officer in Enugu and demanded the arrest of those responsible.

We wonder why the Nigerian Army and police consistently accuse IPOB for any criminal activity that takes place in the area, despite the fact that the kidnappers of the lady soldier made it obvious in a viral video that they had nothing to do with IPOB.

“We condemn the careless conduct committed against the female soldier. If the Nigerian Army continues to charge IPOB, it will be in error.
