Former terrorist Shekau Left 83 Concubines Behind

According to former Boko Haram leaders who handed themselves in to Nigerian police, the late Abubakar Shekau left 83 concubines behind.

Recall that in May 2021, Shekau was slain in the Sambisa Forest following a conflict with a terrorist organization unit.

On Saturday, December 10, Brig. Gen. Abdullahi Ishaq (rtd), the governor of Borno State’s special adviser on security, said that some of the late Shekau’s companions had informed him about his concubines after they had surrendered and accepted peace.

The model began soon after the passing of Abubakar Shekau, and the state administration didn’t want Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP) to continue utilizing the Shekau warriors because we knew it would be fatal, he added.

“So, the first warrior I saw in Bama informed me that Shekau had 83 concubines. Just think about how many concubines he left behind.

They said that he committed suicide during his altercation with another portion and is now in hell. He constantly advised them to engage in combat because if they do, countless virgins would be waiting for them.

Ishaq, who also disclosed that many of the fighters lack basic ablution skills, continued by saying that they regret their actions and that Shekau deceived them.

Let me say this, many of his superiors were angry with him after his suicide since it went against all he had taught them, he said. I can assure you that many of these warriors are incapable of even performing a basic ablution, much alone praying. When we first got them to Maiduguri, we had to start educating them.
