FGC Yauri Student Abducted Gives Birth In Bandit Camp

According to reliable sources, a 16-year-old female student who was kidnapped from Birnin Yauri Federal Government College in Kebbi State gave birth to a child while being held captive.

The young mother is one of the 11 female students who have not yet been freed after gunmen kidnapped over 100 students, eight professors, and a police officer on June 17 at the mixed-gender boarding school.

Security personnel were able to rescue some of the students a few days after their kidnapping, while others managed to flee from the assailants as they were removing them. The instructors and 30 pupils were also freed by the bandits.

Our sources claim that the girl, whose identity could not be verified as of press time, gave birth to a son at the abductors’ camp in the woodland.

One of the sources informed PRNigeria that after many ransom payments and prisoner exchanges with the kidnappers, the parents of the 11 schoolgirls still being held captive showed tremendous anxiety.
