Family Conflict, We’ll Sort It Out Soon – Atiku
|Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, compared the upheaval roiling the party to a family dispute.
The statement was made by the former vice president on Friday during a private meeting with Ibrahim Babangida at his hilltop residence in Niger State.
Atiku expressed hope that the party’s problem would be handled before the election in February while speaking with media following the meeting.
The five governors have always been involved, and we will keep them involved, he said. You will see a very, very cohesive and powerful PDP that will confront the polls because we think we can overcome this family dispute before the elections.
