Before assuming office, Buhari promises to maintain peace in Nigeria.

Nigeria would be more peaceful when President Muhammadu Buhari leaves office in 2023, he has told Nigerians.

Buhari stated that his administration will leave the country in a safer position than when he assumed office in 2015 during a meeting with important government officials and security chiefs on Wednesday in Abuja.

He made the promise in today’s Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa Emblem Appeal Launch for the 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day event.

The President also revealed a N10 million payment made to the appeal fund.

He urged all Nigerians to help veterans and the families of deceased heroes, whose earlier efforts had kept the nation together. He also urged business organizations to do the same.
