According to reports, a Nigerian man called off his wedding because the bride, who was the groom’s fiancee, visited her ex-boyfriend after their engagement ceremony.

The bride’s friend, identified as Josephine, tweeted the information about the incident.

She claimed that although her friend’s wedding was scheduled for December, it was postponed after her fiancé learned that she had gone to see her ex-boyfriend following their traditional nuptials.

She claimed that the bride had only paid a friendly visit to her ex, but the groom was having none of it. So he called off the nuptials.

“My friend’s wedding, which was set to take place by December, was called off today because her fiancé learned that she had visited her ex-boyfriend after their engagement, even though she claimed it was only a friendly visitation, she said,” she said.
