Another Governor Is Threatening To Leave The Atiku Campaign

The governor of Bauchi State, Bala Mohammed, has threatened to drop out of the race for president alongside Atiku, which has frightened the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Alhaji Atiku Abubakar reportedly having second thoughts about seeking the presidency, which makes Alhaji Mohammed angry, according to sources.

Since he wasn’t given complete authority to oversee the Northeast campaign, he allegedly felt deceived.

The governor also voiced worry about what he saw to be the party’s disdain for him in the form of the presidential candidate.

He said that Atiku was the sole PDP presidential contender who did not approach them for amity and reconciliation.

He said that he thought Atiku was not excited about running for office again. He said that information indicated that certain of Atiku’s followers in Bauchi were allegedly impeding his attempts to win reelection.

It upset him the most because Atiku was the only presidential contender to turn down a meeting for reconciliation or peace after the primaries—the governor.

In order to show his party that he is a force to be reckoned with and that he is not a pushover, Bala then made advantage of his recent birthday to organize a sizable demonstration in Bauchi. Atiku seemed enthusiastic about the ceremony.

Another report claims that the governor threatened to quit the presidential campaign committee because he didn’t feel welcome.
