Ansu Fati is prepared to quit Barcelona due to a lack of playing time.

Barcelona has to get back on track after being eliminated from the Champions League since failing to do so might have serious repercussions.

Ansu Fati is reportedly quite dissatisfied with the amount of time he receives from Xavi Hernandez, according to Alfredo Martinez of Sport. Although it has been suggested that he has been gradually returning from his injury, he has been healthy since the conclusion of the last campaign and has only started three of Barcelona’s 16 games.

It seems that Fati informed Jorge Mendes, his agent, that if nothing changed, he would be prepared to quit the club next summer.

Barcelona are not now very worried about the situation. Ansu’s contract contains a €1 billion release clause and runs until 2027.

If that does turn out to be the case, Mendes is a master at making unlikely deals come together. Outside of some of the more modest teams in La Liga, the depth Barcelona seemed to have up front has failed to pay off, and it now seems like it may cause more issues than it solves.
