Yaya Toure: Arsenal Is In Great Shape.

Yaya Toure, a former combative midfielder for Manchester City, has chosen his favorite team to win the Premier League this year. While the former Ivory Coast international wants to see his old team, Manchester City, win, he stressed that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal team cannot be dethroned.

Manchester City and Arsenal are vying for the championship this season; City is presently in second place in the league, just two points behind Arsenal.

On the other side, Manchester United, which is just 3 points behind second place and 5 points behind the league leaders, is putting pressure on both clubs.

Manchester Evening News reports that Toure, a former Barcelona midfielder, spoke as he accepted the Football Writers’ Association Tribute award.

“At the moment, Arsenal is doing really well, but pressure will be applied both ways. You can see the results of a difficult encounter in which Man City dropped a point and Arsenal earned three points despite being on the defensive twice.

I really hope Man City will advance, but we’ll have to wait and see as they are both currently in contention and both are in terrific form.
