|After Manchester City and Nottingham Forest tied 1-1 on Saturday, manager Pep Guardiola chastised his team for squandering “too many easy opportunities.”
In a dramatic championship chase, the Premier League winners lost two points at the Forest Ground.
Before Chris Wood scored a late equalizer, Bernardo Silva gave City the lead.
Keylor Navas had to push De Bruyne’s bouncing free-kick over the crossbar for the home team before Guardiola received a yellow card for his too exuberant sideline outburst of rage.
“We must examine ourselves; we are capable of doing better. Nowadays, we blow too many obvious opportunities. That does, on occasion,” Guardiola remarked.
He said, “I was whining to the fourth official and received a well-deserved yellow card.
