To Sign This West Ham Star, Arsenal Is Prepared To Pay £100 Million.

Declan Rice, the captain of West Ham, has emerged as Arsenal’s top target heading into this summer.

Mikel Arteta, the manager of the Arsenal, is prepared to shatter the team’s transfer record in order to acquire the England international.

Rice is certain to depart the Hammers this summer given the club’s £100 million asking price.

The East London club may not, however, be able to cover that amount.

Rice was expected to be signed by Chelsea this summer, who just defeated Arsenal to the acquisition of Shakhtar Donetsk attacker Mykhailo Mudryk.

Arsenal, though, thinks they are in a strong position to outbid their competitors this summer for Rice’s services.

One of Rice’s goals is to compete in Europe’s premier club tournament, and the league leaders have all but guaranteed their spot in the Champions League for the next season.

However, the Blues are now in 10th position and could not make the top four in the Premier League.
